Dahlia M. Moodie, CEO

Dahlia M. Moodie founded Energy Conservation Options, an independently owned firm offering energy efficiency management services and a Future Power Corporation Company, power technology solutions designed to achieve significant energy cost savings while also reducing commercial/industrial carbon emissions in urban areas.

Energy Conservations Options, a Future Power Corporation Company, utilizes its energy efficiency services and power a better quality of life in the inner-city.

Moodie worked for more than 20 years in the cable TV, business operations, advertising, and business consulting sectors. She spent her career building: successful businesses that leverage proven technologies to support the mass deployment of consumer technology services for homes and businesses; strong alliances between public and private sectors; and utilization of the local labor force to support high level product and service penetration in the local market.

Prior to her current venture, Moodie served as the found and CEO of Dahlia Moodie & Associates, a consulting firm, offering business and operations strategy for Bay Area businesses. Moodie also served as General Manager for The Lenfest Group, Inc. (Regional Director for AT&T Broadband, Regional V.P. for Telecommunications, Inc (TCI) and Director of Operations for Comcast Cable Television Operations. During her tenure, Moodie played a significant role in strategy development for various critical transitions in the local cable business—including the Bay Area Market acquisition, consolidation and transition plan, re-branding of acquired operations, and mass deployment of new technologies such as high speed data, broadband phone service, digital television services and system wide deployment of network fiber optics.

Moodie received her BA with Honors in Sociology from Holy Names University, and an MSW from the University of California, Berkeley. She also completed a post Graduate Fellowship with the Walter Kaitz Foundation in Cable Television Operations, which included study in finance and marketing at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

A lifetime resident of the San Francisco Bay Area, Moodie is an active member of the community and contributes to the following organizations as a member of the Board of Directors for Sutter Health Regional Hospital and Foundation, Chabot Space and Science Center, the East Bay Small Business Council, and the East Bay Economic Development Alliance.
